One Child Policy DBQ

Objective: Given access to several primary source materials dealing with the various components effecting the One Child Policy in China, students will be able to explain with supporting detail their opinion on if the policy was a good idea or a bad idea, using a chart to identify the various strengths and weaknesses of the system.

Instructions: 
1. The class will be divided into seven groups
2. Each group will be assigned one of the documents found in this folder: One Child Policy Documents 
3. Each group will create a presentations about their document 
Before you make a presentation, open your document, open the note taking guide. With your group, answer the questions for YOUR document on the copy of your note taking guide. 
When you finish answering the questions, begin to make a presentation.
   Presentations need to include: 
       - a screen shot of your document
       - the significance of your document
       - any other specifics found on the note taking guide
      - how does your document relate to the one child policy. 
           (remember to "make a copy" of the note taking guide) 

4. While each group is going please take notes on the note taking chart (students who are off topic will incur the wrath of Cohen) :) 

5. Group activity
